This policy explains what ezdocai collects, why, and what you can do about it. The data controller is Ezcods / Parth Rameshbhia Badreshiya, F-107, Wing A, Shiv Shakti Buildcon, Opp Sardar Patel, Bhavnagar, Gujarat 364002, India.
What we collect
- Your mobile number — it is how you sign in and how documents reach you on WhatsApp.
- Your name and email, if you provide them, for receipts and support.
- Your documents — the files you upload, their titles and descriptions.
- Reminders you create, and their scheduled times.
- Payment records — plan, amount, order id and status. We never receive your card, UPI or banking credentials; those go directly to Razorpay.
- WhatsApp request logs — which lookups were made from which number, kept as an audit trail so we can investigate misuse.
How we use it
Only to run the service: to sign you in, to find and send the document you asked for, to deliver reminders, to take payment, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your documents for advertising or to train any model.
Where it goes
- Meta (WhatsApp) — your number and the message content we send you, because that is how delivery works.
- Razorpay — the details needed to take a payment.
- Our hosting and email providers — to store data and send receipts.
- Authorities — only where the law genuinely requires it.
Documents are stored on servers in a database we control, not in a public bucket. A document link contains a long random token; anyone holding that link can open the file, so treat it as you would the file itself.
How long we keep it
Documents and reminders are kept until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Login codes expire within minutes and only their hash is ever stored.
Your choices
- See or correct your details in Settings.
- Delete a document at any time from your dashboard — it is removed from the database, not merely hidden.
- Close your account by writing to founder@ezcods.com. Deleting an account also deletes its documents, reminders and payment history.
- Stop WhatsApp messages by removing your number in Settings, or by blocking the business number.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), the database connection is encrypted, sign-in uses one-time codes rather than passwords, and login codes are stored only as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your own copies of documents that matter.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any update here with a new date. If a change materially affects how your data is used, we will tell you.
